No, all donations are unrestricted funds and applied to historic restoration projects on a First Come First Serve Basis guided by the following priorities:
1. Historic Churches with Active Parish Communities – Provide funding that enables local parishes and dioceses to carry out their restoration projects with appropriate diocesan approvals.
Only if donor selects “Yes” can funds be applied to Convents and Monasteries
2. Convents and Monasteries in distress – Restore and protect these sacred sites by converting them into Pilgrimage and Patrimony Centers to be owned and operated by Ave Maria Restoration
3. Convents and Monasteries with Active Religious Communities – Provide funding that empowers religious communities to carry out their restoration projects
YES ! All donations will be matched to an EXACT historic patrimony project and each donor will receive regular email updates and progress reports via email so they know precisely where their generous gift is going.
We are working towards greater than 85% of every donation (after processing fees) going to approved historic restoration projects and a maximum of 15% supporting Ave Maria Restoration mission operations.
Yes but only in the United States. Ave Maria Restoration is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donors receive an email receipt each January for the prior year donation(s) suitable for tax records.
There is a ONE-TIME gift for each new donor that starts a monthly donation. You will receive an email with your coupon to apply at checkout at Ave Maria Restoration Shop
Absolutely. Donors can manage recuring gifts anytime through the donor portal at the top of this page. Once you click on the Stripe Portal you will use the same email address used as part of setting up your monthly donation level. You will receive an email with access to the Stripe Portal to cancel or change your monthly donation level.

Coming Soon…. Ave Maria Restoration plans to accept Bitcoin in 2026 to their custodial account. Other Crypto will be accepted but will be traded for Bitcoin. As necessary, Bitcoin will be sold in a local country’s fiat to ensure funding of historic churches restoration project.
