How It Works: Monthly Pledges, Eternal Impact
We invite Catholics to pledge monthly support before a specific historical church is assigned. This approach allows us to act swiftly and faithfully when a church is ready for restoration—with the confidence that financial and volunteer resources are already in place.
Importantly, all donations are tax-deductible under U.S. law, regardless of whether a specific church has yet been designated, as they support the broader mission and operations of Ave Maria Restoration, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Step 1: Catholics Make a Monthly Pledge
Supporters make recurring monthly pledges as an act of stewardship—helping preserve the sacred patrimony of the Church before any single project is named.
This proactive commitment builds readiness to act when a qualified church emerges.
Step 3: Ave Maria Restoration Selects Partners & Restoration Begins
Ave Maria Restoration will select and distribute donations to those involved in the restoration efforts. All updates, photos, and progress throughout the restoration journey will be highlighted on the Ave Maria Restoration website.
All donors to a specific Historical church will have their name in a word cloud with the Ave Maria Restoration Logo at the Historical Church.
Step 2: Ave Maria Restoration seeks out Diocesan leadership
Ave Maria Restoration is committed to supporting restoring Catholic churches under the direction of local bishops and their teams.
Finding a match between total donations to restoration projects takes time, as we ensure each project is feasible. During this phase, pledges are not idle—they accumulate to create a realistic restoration budget.
